can not get on line with wireless broardband


how can i get on the internet with a bigpond wireless broardband modem in linux ubuntu 11.10 opperating system have tryed but will not work

This should be straightforward using NetworkManager https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ne...bile_Broadband and appropriate mobile broadband connection settings e.g. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1640260
