can not connect to the internet

Hello. Lately I installed Fedora 10 on my Windows as virtual machine. But in Linux I can not connect to internet. I have made the same (installed Linux) on my laptop and Fedora automatically launched internet. I have tried manually change Ip address and MAC of my NIC but no results. It does even try to connect. Just ignore all entered configuration. Please help me. It is not possible for me to use Linux without internet access.

Which virtualisation software are you using?

Catkin, you are right. The problem was with virtualisation software. Parameter set did not support network connections. I fixed it and now everything is working as expected.
