Question Can I use the Chrome features I really like in Chromium; will it all work in Lununtu?

I have tried a few linux distros and have decided to take the next step. I want to start installing Lubuntu on old Gaming P3 PC's and some old P4's I have to be used for business. I've developed all records and paperwork around Google Chrome apps. (Talk, Docs, etc) My big question is, will all these features work with Chromium, and will it work with the Lubuntu distro? And, specifically will Abiword and Gnumeric translate to Google Doc format?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question.
