possible - yes
straight forward - no

consider what a pain it is to get KDE 3.1 icon sets to work in KDE 3.2

using the icons shouldn't be that much of an issue, just the inclusion of the theme ... but i honestly don't know if there is a tool you can use

well Icons are files just like everything else...its just figuring out if Gnome will allow you to point to them ...

The only to know is to try ....

Thanks again

Yes I gave it a go ...look for KDE icons using browse function (Select Custom Icon) Drag the icon you want onto old icon in Properties....& there you go...

... well yes, that's what i figured, but i didn't think you could to the global replace that you do in KDE when you install a icon set...

eitherway ... great you worked it out.
