Can I setup sendmail so that it use separate user and password files?


I have configured dovecot to use separate user and password file. Can I tell endmail to use it too? If not, then does postfix can this?

dovecot - as i understand it - is a MUA, postfix (and sendmail) are
MTAs ... in which way should both be using the same files?
