Can I move /home ?
I have / in an LVM partition, and i'm running out of space. What I did was created another LVM volume at /homes. Can I move the data from /home into /homes, and then delete /home and move /homes to /home? I don't know if it's that easy. Thanks for any help!

Yes, move all of your data over to /homes, emptying out /home completely, so it's an empty directory. Then unmount /homes and remount it as /home. Finally, edit /etc/fstab so the correct partition is mounted as /home on each subsequent reboot. You may want to do this is single user mode to ensure that nothing which could be fouled up by the change is running.
