can I install Linux on the same PC where i have windows installed
 
Hi Everyone,
i m new to linux. Please tell me how do i install the ubuntu on my system. I have already installed windows on my system. I wan to have two OS on same machine. Is it possible??

Please let me know how to use the ubuntu if u have any documentation on this.

The setup is called 'dual boot'. If you want more that two OSs, it's 'multi boot'. It's fairly easy and quite comon to do.

Just start your favorite browser and go to www.google.com/linux, and search for: ubuntu "dual boot".
You will find much documentation to read.

You will also need to read up on partitioning. I'm sure whatever documentation you find related to dual booting will include this. But just a heads up.
