Can I install a .deb package into Vector?

I'm currently running Vector linux and I understand this is Slackware based. I use Netzero as my dial up provider, and the software is available as a .deb package. Is there a way to install this into a Slackware based system?

Is it possible to get it installed any other way? Any other way to connect to Netzero via Linux?

Use alien to convert the package from .deb to .tgz
http://kitenet.net/programs/alien/

Then cross your fingers and install

Cool, never knew it existed. I'll give it a try.
