Can I have BOOKMARKS default directory be extrn USB drive?

Hi all;

Using: Debian Etch

I would like to have my USB drive be the default directory for bookmarks. So when I save and "manage" bookmarks, it's done in one place. That way I can use that USB stick between home PC, laptop and office PC and always have my bookmarks up to date (which I use a lot). Is that possible?

Oh... ALSO... I've seen people reply to posts and they include a PART of the other person's post, quoted in a box and their reply right under it. How do you do that?

Thank you for the help, in advance.

It should work to create a symlink where your current bookmark file is. It will be 'broken' when the USB drive is not ready, but all actions to your bookmark file should apply to it when it is. You could also symlink the entire profile directory or dotdir. Maybe a more direct way like a pref, but that would depend on what browser you use, which you didn't say.

You wrap the section you want to quote in QUOTE tags and delete the rest.

Thank you very much. Symlinks work perfectly for what I wanted.
