Can I get a konsole to start from a crontab job?

I've added a like to my (user) crontab to start konsole, but nothing's happening. Do I need to tell it about what xhost I'm using?

konsole --display :0.0

this should do it. this happens because cron is running outside of X it has no idea where to attach itself to.
