Can I Confirm a Reboot in MWM?

I have set up a mwm screen with a reboot option for my users. it basically just runs sudo /sbin/reboot. Question is, is it possible to reboot the box but have pop up box come up first to verify the reboot? This has to be done via an option on a user menu configured in system.mwmrc. They don't have an available xterm session. Anybody have a script written to do this? Sadly I have minimal script writing skills.

Tink,

Thanks very much for the heads up on XMessage, that did the trick

If anybody is interested, here is what I did :

Created a script called REBOOT_Script.sh - containing the following

xmessage -center " Are you sure you want to Reboot?" -buttons YES:1,NO:2

ANS=$?

if [ $ANS -eq 1 ]
then
/usr/bin/sudo /sbin/reboot
fi

I execute this script from the RIGHT Click menu on the mwm desktop by adding the REBOOT option to the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/system.mwmrc file and doing an f exec on the REBOOT_Script.sh.

Hope this info helps someone else.

Thanks Again Tink !!
