Have you tried Rufus?

Just to add my oar in, it really depends on what you use Windows 10 for.

DRM Motorcycle Tuning software

Posted from my dual booter Windows 10/Mint 17 Mate, bike tuner laptop.

Code:
Model: ATA SAMSUNG HM321HI (scsi)
Disk /dev/sda: 320GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: msdos

Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
 1 1049kB 106MB 105MB primary ntfs boot
 2 106MB 123GB 122GB primary ntfs
 3 123GB 320GB 198GB extended
 6 123GB 141GB 19.0GB logical ext4
 5 141GB 316GB 174GB logical ext4
 7 316GB 320GB 4193MB logical linux-swap(v1)
Hardest part was freeing up/unblocking Windows from preventing my Mint Mate file manager, Caja, from accessing my Windows files.
YMMV from mine though.

Appears you still have to be running a Linux system to create an openSUSE bootable usb stick. I'm running Windows 7 and want to try openSUSE before I install it, to make sure it's what I really need and want.

Grab yumi:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-mu...t-usb-creator/

I use it all the time on my Windows systems, OpenSUSE works just as well as all the others.

http://askubuntu.com/questions/59551...o-a-usb-device ...*
plus
Code:
sudo parted -l
with USB in.

Should I be surprised by this forum that the OP hasn't written one single post since his first? I guess I shouldn't...

In Windows, I use LinuxLive (LiLi) - sometimes it's the only thing that will make a bootable USB stick when all the others on whatever OS have failed.

Life ~ what's it all about ~ posting knowledge without consent or the one seeking having asked for it then gone away never to return to find out what he missed out on?

I'm sorry to hear that. Its not that difficult if you are at least slightly technically inclined. What do you use your computer for? What are some must have programs to have?

I suppose so, but what really annoys me is that everyone has an opinion about general issues like this one. Usually irrelevant crap But when it comes to some really specific problems, you receive one answer from a bored user with tens of thousands of posts who might or might not help you. So yeah, don't get ahead of yourselves...

Really specific problems sometimes stump the best of them because they are just too random wack job what the hell is this and why is it happening to me problems that no one can answer quickly if at all, even the developers of the hardware or software what is causing them. But that is just my opinion on the general issue of really specific problems.

three pages of comments and only one from the OP.
