Can I burn files from NTFS drive to DVD/CD in Linux?

I've mucked up my windows partition and can't boot into windows (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=153654), and am now pretty much resigned to formating my windows partition and re-installing it, but what I want to know is:

Is it possible to burn files from my windows directory onto CD/DVD in Linux?

Thanks

I'm not absolutely sure....but it stands to reason, that if you can mount and read ur Windows Partion in Linux....then you should be able to burn from it

If I can burn straight from a folder on my wife's Windows XP machine to disk on my Mandrake machine, then you should have no problems with a partition on your machine. If you can read it, you can write it somewhere else.
