Can GUI operations be viewed real time within a terminal?
When I start a program, or make changes to something using Gnome or KDE, I would like to see exactly what is happening in a terminal window. This way I can learn the commands for each operation I perform, as well as gather a greater understanding of what is actually happening. Is there anyway to have a terminal window open, and watch everything thats happening scroll by in real time?

I want to watch everything Gnome does in a terminal, each program thats started, each change that is made, and so on...
