can't startx, keeps comming up with an error


i'm using VMware to run redhat...
but i can't run any gui.. i have gnome and kde installed with red hate during setup/installation..

this error keeps popping up

please help its really fustrating me.. i'm a newbie and really wanted to give it a go through VMware before partitioning ect ect.

i have redhat successfully running on another pc (without VMware) but the pc is way to slow to really do anything..

i've read heaps of books but can't find anything..
its hard to find an answer, when you don't really know what the questions is

Got it

i searched frantically for a config file, or something, and stumbled across
redhat-config-packages

but i did
redhat-config-xFree86
or whatever it was..

and it loaded me up into the gui, i selected my resolution and we're rocking!

but its running really slow..
any suggestions how i can get it to recognise my video card? without me having to use the gui? its near impossible to use
