Hello there
I am use to this. Installed Linux redhat 9 on a dell server quite a while back. Had a power fail and I could not get it to woerk since.
Some say that its the ports that closed. I checked with NMAP or something and port 80 and 8080 is open. Tried IPTABLES STOP.
I see that HTTPD started but I cannot call it up from a remote location on the web www.jmzcons.com.Ran a check with dns report and that's where it lost me. Please help....
This is very general - possible causes can cover many, many topics including DNS, Apache, Linux, firewalls and who knows what else. Let's try and narrow it down.
How do you access your server - local machine, ssh on LAN, remote ssh?
What's your server's ip address (it seems to be 24.141.88.6 but please confirm)? (using that ip your server seems to be totally unreachable from outside)

Reason: grammar
Secondly, this site resolves to 24.141.88.6 for me. A quick scan says this host is not up, that would be your first problem. Make sure your external IP and DNS are correct where this domain is served from.
jmzcons.com resolves to 24.141.88.6. A reverse DNS on this gives d141-88-6.home.cgocable.net, which is clearly a residential cable modem system. Most likely, your IP address has either changed or your cable provider has blocked access.
