Hello, I'm running a vps, i dont know if that would be the cause of this but, when i try to create a screen as a unpriv user I get the error "no more PTYs", "Can't find a PTY". Ive ls -la the /dev/pts dir and this is what I see.
how would I create more, or fix this. Im not sure what the solution to my problem would be? Oh and I can create a screen as root just fine, just not when under the assaultcube user. many thanks.
yea I checked that out, they mentioned checking the perms on /dev/pty*, but when i
root@me:/dev# ls -l /dev/pty*
ls: cannot access /dev/pty*: No such file or directory

Apparently it's looking to allocate ptys. Most likely it's a question of permissions on the /dev/pty* devices. Most likely, they should be 666, I believe.
