Hi i am a newbie!
i have some problem with dvd

1)i bought a DVD-RW and written some data on it!
2)i used that data and formatted it with brasaro !
3)i can see cd/dvd player icon when i open "places->computer" but when i insert the dvd the icon vanished, brasaro also cant detect it .
4)when i eject it and close the cd drive then the icon of cd\dvd appears again
5) then i installed k3b.i can see a empty disk there in k3b but the icon is removed again in "places->computer" .
6)tried to write data using k3b on that dvd but it gives following error:
mkisofs crashed
