Question can't install Redhat 9.0 up2date new version


I am trying to install the new version of Redhat up2date and it keeps coming up with the message.

[root@#####]# rpm -ivh up2date-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try rpm -Uvh to upgrade instead of install.

Next to try is rpm --force -Uvh to force the upgrade.

U must install both files :

up2date-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm
up2date-gnome-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm

type : rpm -Fvh up2date*
