Can't find USB storage

I just installed Red Hat 9.0 over Windows XP and had two problems. First, my Network Card was not found (I have a new DELL Dimension 2400). From my research, I found out that I need to get a driver installed for the NIC. However, since I can't connect to the internet and don't have a floppy drive I ned to use the USB port.
I plugged in the USB CompactFlash card, but I don't know where to look for the files. Under the directory mnt/ I only see cdrom.

Try searching for "mounting usb drive" in the previous posts. They've been discussed quite a lot of times.

You need to add a line to your /etc/fstab file, identifying the USB device as (probably)
/dev/sda1, associating that with a folder /mnt/usbstick (or something similar, which you have to create) and selecting vfat for the file system. Then you should be able to mount your USB memory stick with

Curses! cut off half-way! What I was trying to say was, once you've created the folder
/mnt/usbstick (or whatever you call it) and updated /etc/fstab you should be able to
mount the USB memory stick with
mount /mnt/usbstick

There's more detailed instructions to be found if you do a google search for linux and USB
