can't boot mandriva 10.2

I've installed Mandriva 10.2, all has ride fine. But when I boot the system, after some messages comes always the same in red:
/etc/init.d/functions: line 77 :/bin/gettext: Permition denied
and halt. I'd tried reinstall several times.

My configuration is: Athon 2.0 MBoard Asus A7V8X-X, 760 mb of RAM, Vga is ATI 9200. Please, I need help. Thanks.

Maybe try an install with ext3 file system
also watch that noauto option

Thanks Emmanuel. Your indications where very much usefull. The problem is resolved. I had 2 drives, one of them with another Linux distro (Kurumin). I belive Mandriva, when was booting, confused 2 distros. So I disconnected the second drive and all runned fine. Once more thankyou very much.

I am glad it is solved. Happy to help. It helps to help as well.
I started on Linux only in Nov, and I was glad to have some
help at the beginning. It is surprising how two brains
usually work better, even if sometimes suggestion are shots
in the dark.
