I've installed Mandriva 10.2, all has ride fine. But when I boot the system, after some messages comes always the same in red:
/etc/init.d/functions: line 77 :/bin/gettext: Permition denied
and halt. I'd tried reinstall several times.
My configuration is: Athon 2.0 MBoard Asus A7V8X-X, 760 mb of RAM, Vga is ATI 9200. Please, I need help. Thanks.
Thanks Emmanuel. Your indications where very much usefull. The problem is resolved. I had 2 drives, one of them with another Linux distro (Kurumin). I belive Mandriva, when was booting, confused 2 distros. So I disconnected the second drive and all runned fine. Once more thankyou very much.
Distribution: Mandriva mostly, vector 5.1, tried many.Suse gone from HD because bad Novell/Zinblows agreement
