Angry Can't Boot From Scroll Through GNU GRUB?

I just installed Elementary OS Luna alongside Windows 7 on my custom rig via a CD. When my PC boots from the HDD, it enters GNU GRUB version 1.99-21ubuntu3.10 and asks what OS I’d like to enter. I can’t scroll through the grub with the arrow keys. I can't even hit enter to boot from the top entry. I've tried multiple keyboards with no luck. Any suggestions?

USB keyboard ?.
If so, see what BIOS options you have for USB legacy or similar.

Yes, it's a USB keyboard. The BIOS boot options I have are as follows: Floppy, LS120, Hard Disk, CDROM, ZIP, USB-FDD, USB-ZIP, and legacy LAN. It's also worth mentioning that I'm unable to scroll with the arrow keys in the F12 boot menu either, nor have I ever been able to.

you need to get into bios setup, not boot options.

You might be in a difficult situation. What happens when you reboot - does it just sit at the grub boot menu, or does it proceed to boot ?. If so, which operating system does it boot to by default.

Also, does a boot from CD still work ?.

there should be a option to enable usb legacy, keyboard, of some sort in bios setup. Sometimes pluging the keyboard either in one of the top or bottom usb slot will get things working.
