There are some directories that I cannot access in linux, such as root, and a few others. Also, I cannot create new folders in the icewm themes directory. Why is this? Do I have to change anything in my user administration?
You can't access the root folder, unless you're signed in with root. Now, you can do a "run as root", and access the file(s) or folder(s) that are root only. But never log into root unless you're off the network or internet.
