Can't view images with .aspx extension
I have found some links that myself or computer do not how to handle. I think they are meant to be images and they have a .aspx extension. The links are located at http://www.tennis.com.au/Pages/defau...78&PageID=8808 under Pennant Type
So how do I view the images? |
Typically stands for "Active Server Pages". Not images. That link goes to the backend server, which sends an HTTP header telling the broswer the type of content it is. It appears to be MS Word documents. Try installing OpenOffice if you get to the point where you are able to download the files.

Just to further expand, the owner of that site should really be going a step further and suggesting a filename(Again - this would be a HTTP header set by the server) that represents the content - would certainly assist their customers.

Yes Open Office does appear to want to be associated with them but when I open them they are blank. Maybe it is a problem that the website is having.

I can download the files, OpenOffice appears to be the only applications that wants to be associated with this file type, when I open the file in Open Office it is blank.
|
Try re-naming the file as well, give it a ".doc" extension.

Very good, putting a .doc extension on the end did the trick. Didn't think that Linux was so extension orientated like Windows.
