Can't update Suse 9.2
Hi
This is my first ever post so bare with me if it's stupid. I recently started to learn myself Linux and got Suse 9.2 to start off with. It's loaded on my laptop witch I use to browse the Internet at office via a proxy server. My ip is assigned through DHCP and all the proxy settings I entered manually. I have no troubles going onto the web with Konqueror but I can't seem to update Suse from the SuSe Watcher. When I open the window and click check for updates it just comes up with a error "unable to check for updates" The strange part is that the network status in that same windows says: Direct Connection. How do I change this direct connection so it goes through the proxy?? Is there any alternative way to update Suse? |
