I just setup my new email server within a LAN(ie. new mail server is one of the host in LAN). I can use the computer with new mail server (which happen to be postfix server) to email to other computer successfully but can't receive email from others. WHenevre i send email from other computer , i got the folllowing message:
Yes , i can ping the host name of the "new server" but soemhow my gateway server can't ping that host name. I got host not found for ping it. I have tried to put the nameserver of LAN1 (which is external ip address) onto newserver resolv.conf, but nothing work. Also , i tried to cp /etc/resolv.conf /var/spoolpostfox/etc but no luck still. The postfix faq bring me no light either(under section "postfix within intranet") --http://www.postfix.org/faq.html#intranet
