Can't print text in SUSE 9.1
 

I'm very new at this, so please bear with me. After installing SUSE 9.1 on a test machine as a dual boot with XP, I attempted to add access to a network printer, in this case a DEC Laser Printer LN17. I set the CUPS password and downloaded the drivers needed, and it seemed to install successfully. I can send jobs to the printer and I do get the dialog box that says page successfuly sent to the printer, but no text appears on the page the printer spits out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried printing from a non-networked computer?
