can't kill process - buggy psybnc


Hello,

I am running PSYBNC

I do the "kill PID" <-- number of course

And I make sure it is killed and I do a "ps U username"

and it is still there, this is exactly printed out:

24837 ? D 0:13 ./psybnc

any help much appreciated!

Maybe the process is a zombie, you can't kill a zombie. A reboot would remove it (but if the process isn't costing too much you can just ignore it).

Thanks that seemed to fix the problem (and kill my game servers, but atleast I can connect to the bnc now)
