Question Can't install network driver (read: don't know how to)

I run Ubuntu 7.10 on an Asus P5B-MX system of which I use the onboard LAN. My problem is I guess the driver or the configuration: Mozilla has an internet connection but nothing else seems to, for example when trying to update or install packages and programs it errors as soon as something needs to be downloaded.
I've got the linux driver straight from Asus' site though i can't find any TAR file in the download :S
Anyway, if some one knows the (obvious?) thing I'm doing wrong, please give my a (link to a) step by step guide.

Tnx in advance.

Can you be more specific - what errors?
Can you post your /etc/apt/sources.list

I tried using sudo -apt-get update but after some "ign [location]" passed it gives an error:

Could not resolve 'nvidia.limitless.lupine.me.uk'
...
404 Not Found [IP: 195.114.19.35 80]
---
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Also when adding programs through the standard applications-add/remove... i can't download anything "list of apps not available" when i reload i get a message box stating none of the repository indexes could be downloaded, all with " could not resolve ip" or 404 errors.

Ooh... I just read the sources.list but every "# Line commented out by installer because it failed to verify:"
guess that's kind of the problem, but here it is anyway. (sorry if i shouldn't be posting the entire file here but i don't know what else :s )

/etc/apt/sources.list:
