can't install bind using rpm
 
hello,
Well i just finished installing redhat 9.0 on a virtual machine.I tried using rpm to install bind,it tells me that the file is not in the specified directory.And this my first time installing a linux os successfully.please help me on how to go about it the installation.thanks............

RedHat 9 is completely and utterly obsolete. You are wasting your time trying to do anything with it. Download an up to to date version of Linux such as openSUSE 11.1 or Fedora 10. Bind will be trivial to install as you can use the included package managers to install it from their repos.

Why did you install RedHat 9? I am genuinely interested to know. You are by no means the first person to post saying that they have installed Linux for the first time and have installed RedHat 9. I've not seen any of them yet explain why. What led you to RedHat 9?
