Can't get proper wireless connection names
 

Hello. I am a newbie trying to get my wusb54g adapter that that i took off my old computer and put it on an old sony laptop. The wireless network connections are not the same as I have on my other computer. Have tried refresh but still the same names come up. have can i get the proper names that are on my other computers.

using, and what make and model the wifi adapter is.

I am using a bilken router with a linksys wusb54g ver1 adapter.

And which version of Linux?

Please also describe (copy & paste? attach screenshots?) the
discrepancies between what you see and what you expect.
