can't get out on redhat 9

I'm running a redhat 9 box as a webserver with apache. I can get in but I can't get out with either Mozilla or Opera. As far as I know this just started after I updated the kernel yesterday. However, I hadn't used it for internet access for a few weeks previous, so it could have been that way before yesterday.

The other Very Weird Thing -- when I reboot, I can get out using the Mozilla for two sites, then everything times out. Sometimes it's 4 sites, sometimes 3. But every time it stops working. And I tried this rebooting with all 3 kernels that I have installed.

HELP!
