Can't get kubuntu starting (grafic problem)
 

Ok I did have Ubuntu version 5.04 on a CD that i did use too install Ubuntu (server version) so only the basic things. My plan was too install Kubuntu that i did, so after the kubuntu install was complete did i type in

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop and the install did start after the installw as finished did i get the console back so i did type in "kde" and it started (i think) the problem is that i did only get a black screen and nothing else, the same thing did happend when i did after i rebooted. i guess it have something too do with X or Xorg that is the grafic "thing" ;) i got a geforce 4mx please help me :)

When you installed kubuntu-desktop, you should be prompted to use kdm or gdm as your default login, did that happen?

There was any erros during the installation of kubuntu-desktop?

What happen if you type: o
Go to /var/log and see here for the Xorg log (normally Xorg.0.log), find the lines that have (EE)
