? Why not install opencv with $ sudo apt-get install <package>

The "opencv" package list for all Ubuntu versions is here ..
http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?ke...searchon=names

Any questions ? Then please specify your Ubuntu version,
And : The version of OpenCV that you are trying to build.
