Smile Can't enter to Gdm


I'm using Slackware 9.0 in a pentium I and i just updated the theme for gdm and now i can't enter to gnome, when I enter my user name and press enter, gdm restart and it's impossible to enter to console mode.
Thanks for your help.

Run ps -ax from the command line and kill any running instance(s) of gdm: kill [gdm id number] . Then it should be possible to restart it again.

Search for gdm.log, .xsession-errors and look what's in if you still can't log in gdm
