can't dual boot ubuntu 14.04- the option to choose os(windows/ubuntu)


the dvd of ubuntu went well. menu said completion went o.k. however, i am unable to see a option to boot either winxp or ubuntu/ i went into boot menu and found nothing and i went into setup with the sam results.can't even find ubuntu anything. any help? did ubuntu not install
correctly?? thank you.

Boot the Ubuntu DVD. Go to the site below and read the instructions in the link in the Description box then download and run the bootinfoscript and post the output, a results.txt file. This will show information on your drives/partitions, boot files and other info and someone should be able to advise you:
