Can't download NVIDIA driver for FC5

I am a Linux Newb and have been trying to download the NVIDIA driver for my FC5, however after I download it and try and open it I get this error, "gedit has not been able to detect the character coding. Please check that you are not trying to open a binary file. Select a character coding from the menu and try again." The file is NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run. Could someone help me figure this out? Thanks

You don't need to open it - it's executable. Go to the nvidia website and read the install notes - they're very detailed.
