Can't connect to Internet with Suse 10.1

I have installed Suse 10.1 64 bit on my home built desktop and have a DSL cable ethernet connection. I cannot get any internet connection, either on Konquerer or Firefox. I have a message "DCHP contoller is already running on eth0" What does this mean, how can I configure it to connect to the Web? I would like to know this please PPL.

Try the Kde Control Center -> YaST2 modules -> Internet Services. Look for a DSL configuration option.

You could also try, from the command line, 'dhcpcd -B interface eth0'. Most distros use dhcpd; SuSE uses dhcpcd (note the extra letter c between the letters p and d: see man dhcpcd for more info).

Then try your favorite browser.

This command line does not work, it is an invalid command I am sorry to say, also there is no DSL option in YasT. Anyone got any ideas?
