Can't Connect to Internet After Connecting to Apani/Nortel VPN

Hi,

I just installed Fedora 6 and trying to set up my Apani v3.5 VPN client so that I can connect to my workplace's network. I got the vpn to install and connect. However, after connecting to the VPN, I cannot connect to anything else, ie. cannot ping yahoo.

Any ideas? Any firewall settings I need to disable maybe?

thanks!

Isn't the whole point of a VPN to put you only on your company's network? It does their network no good if your machine becomes an external entry point to their network. Talk to your company's network staff about getting net access while you're connected.

Prior to upgrading to Fedora 6, I was on FC 4 and the VPN worked fine then, can connect to corporate network and the internet. Therefore, I'm not sure what changes in FC 6 might have caused this.

Your company might turn off tunneling which will prevent you accessing the internet while you are connecting to their network.
