Can't access usb flash drive in Libreoffice

I'm running Xubuntu 15.04. I can not access my usb flash drive to 'save as' on whatever document I have open in Libreoffice. I can open the document from the flash drive (and when I do the entire contents of the drive show on the screen) and save from there, but if I switch to save to say my "Dropbox"folder in my Home folder, I can not get back to 'save as' to the USB drive. And on the "places" sidebar it shows only this:

My Documents (folder)
Gregory (my Home folder)

And that's it. No File System. No USB drive.

What I used to do (if the USB drives weren't listed in the "places" sidebar, that is) is click on File System>Media>the usb drive.

Of course I can work around this but how can I get it back to normal?

Thank you.

Figured it out. I just needed to hit the up arrow in the address bar in the "save as" screen. That takes me to the File System folders where I can get to "media" and find my usb drive.
