Hello we recently migrated a Windows XP file server to Windows 7. Now we're struggling to map to the drive from RedHat.
Code:
[root@lynx etc]# mount -t smbfs -o username=database,password=database //10.50.0.100/ftp /home/ftpupload.kv_users/config/ftp
4435: session request to 10.50.0.100 failed (Called name not present)
4435: session request to 10 failed (Called name not present)
4435: session request to *SMBSERVER failed (Called name not present)
SMB connection failed
[root@lynx etc]#
Any ideas? We can map the drive on the W7 box from a Windows XP box.
