Question Cable Internet Access with Mandrake 8.2

Hi All,

My problem is to do with connecting to my cablenet provider through my Mandrake 8.2 Box and a Motorola Surfboard Cable Modem. My server is a Dual Boot PIII with two NICs, both of which are detected and set up properly.

The problem is that I am not able to configure the Domain of my ISP in the Mandrake Cable Net Wizard. I am not a newbie to networking and have set up dozens of networks on various windows platforms. But I decided to go the open source way only recently and am facing problems with setting up the cablenet access, though my home network works just fine.

I'd be real grateful if someone could give me some suggestions

Bye

Arun
