C++ headers problem - sstream

I've trying to install a program in my system (Spades) but when i execute "make" i obtain the next message:
sstream : no such file or directory

I know that i need to include the sstream header but i don't know how, must I download a later version of cpp?which version?
or i just need to copy this file in my system?

Please help me, thanks.

#include <sstream> should do the trick.

How are you compiling the program?

The problem appears when I execute the command "make" of the program 'Spades', some cpp archive call the sstream header and appears the error.
My SO is old (Suse 6.2), I've installed a newer Cpp version , the 3.0.0 but only the core and the g++. Now I don't get the sstream error, now appears:"configure: error : could not find the dynamiv library that defines fork".
I donīt if all these problems are cause of my SO, my cpp configuration or if i can't install the program (Spades) anyway.

Could you give me some solution?Thanks!!
