c Editor?
Hi all.
I've searched a good user-frienly c Editor for Linux over the internet. But there are a lot of c Editor and as you know, you can find its usefulness gradually by using it. Therefore, I don't want to lose time. Could you advise me a c Editor? Thanks for any advise... |
If you just mean a text editor, you're right there are tons of them. I personally use nano because it's easy for me and on most linux systems today. Professionals usually prefer the tried and true vi.
Now if you're talking about c compilers, I believe generally you just use gcc |
KDE has Kate and Kwrite, Gnome has gedit. All three of those can highlight syntax for C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, and many many others.

Thanks mbreith and pljvaldez for your advises :)
