C Compiler


Hi
I just installed Linux Ubuntu and im a little stuck. It says that i need a C Compiler and i thought i had 1, even tho i dont really know what it is...... i was trying to install a few programs when this came up.
Can any1 help me???

You need to install gcc and it's dependencies to compile from source.
