Bypassing Proxy


Hello,

If any of the PC in the network tries to bypass the proxy in the network domain..how can we trace that computer IP Address to block the Internet access?

The workstation in ubuntu 7.10 desktop box.

please let me know if anyone could help in this regard.

It depends on how the network connectivity is? If I am not wrong you mean to check if any pc is going to internet without using proxy.
If it is the case then you need to understand if their is any other way to reach without going from proxy.
And if all the connections are going via proxy then u can check site access in proxy log or you can check connectivity logs using iptables log option.
