Buying a new cpu, what to do?

Hi!

Im going to buy a new processor, athlon xp 3200+ (I currently have duron 1200mhz)
Do I have to compile my kernel or something, or does it just work when I put it on my motherboard?
I use mandrake 10.1.

I've once installed mandrake 10.1 on this duron machine and then i took of the HD and put it on some old P2 machine and it worked perfectly.

I've once tride to compile kernel but I [modedit]rendered my machine unusable[/modedit], so I wouldnt want to do it again

Thanks!

Slap it in and turn on your computer. It'll work just fine as is.
