Burning custom linux ISO
Hey Guys,
What im trying to do is create a custom linux ISO. I have downloaded a fedora core based asterisk distro and have made some changes to the files in the to the image with PowerISO as well as adding some more files. Now when I burn the new image nothing installs and I just get the message: ------------------------------------------------------------ ISOLINUX 3.61 2008-02-03 isolinux: Image checksum error, sorry... Boot failed: press a key to retry ------------------------------------------------------------- I have tested several things: * I can burn the ISO image that I downloaded, works fine. * If I open the downloaded ISO image (with PowerISO) and save it again as an ISO without making any changes and burn it to cd, I get the error. * If I open up the ISO image and make some modifications to the image and burn the image, I get the error. So there seems to be a problem when im saving the image as an iso. Any help would be appriciated. |
Use the distro to make the disk.
Fedora should have live cd tools. When installed /usr/share or /usr/local/share will have the config scripts. You can create one based on the others and save in the same directory path. |
