Burning .cue from the terminal

Hey, i'm using mandrake 10. K3b is installed by default, but when i click on it, its begins to start, but then nothing happens and does not load. I was planning on burning a .cue file. I read somewhere that you can burn .iso files right from the terminal, and i was just wondering if I could burn .cue files... like this

cdrecord -v speed=8 dev=1,1,0 /path/to/cue
