burning a bootable cd with fedora core 5 iso

Hi I got problems burning a downloaded iso.
Ive downloaded a bordeaux-binary-i386 which consists of the following.

SHA1SUM
FC-5-i386-disc1.iso
FC-5-i386-disc2.iso
FC-5-i386-disc3.iso
FC-5-i386-disc4.iso
FC-5-i386-disc5.iso
FC-5-i386-rescuecd.iso

I got problems burning them using Nero and CD XP Pro 3. Those disks that i've burned were not bootable. Could somebody help me?

Thanks!

Are you sure you burned them as 'image' files, and not as the only file on a ISO-9660 filesystem? Common mistake, that. Also, I think the only bootable ones in the group are the rescue CD and the Disc 1.

Is it by default if i choose on nero the option "burn image to disk"? no other settings to make, i mean...?that will make the disk bootable?

you need to select "burn image file" and pick ISO ...

What you're doing is to add the ISOs to a new CD project,
that won't work.

Download DeepBurner and Click BURN ISO TO DISC then select it and hit burn - easy peasy! much easeier than nero etc... and FREE!
